I dunno, for all the money he's put into it, he could've had an Evo. I can understand doing it as a track only car due to weight differences, but why TRY to create an Evo when you could just buy one.
Hell, he could probably have gotten an Evo V imported and 'legalized' with less headaches.

How, just because it says Mirage on the title? Whats left on that car that was original Mirage? Windows, maybe a couple of body panels. That's like saying John Force's funny car is a piece of shit because its still just a mustang. Extreme example but when you heavily modify a car it becomes something else.

so your saying it a drop a vette engine in a geo metro....it becomes a vette? a car is what it is...a car. you can do everything in the world to a honda civic, but its still a honda civic.

evos werent built for drag racing, they are built for rally and road racing. and i hope you can beat a stock X..or any stock evo for that matter, they are slow. unless you cant do better than a 14 sec 1/4 mile.

By "something else" I didn't mean that if you swap motors it becomes the car the motor came from, that's just stupid. But its not just a Mirage anymore, or at the very least its a freaking sweet Mirage. What makes a Mirage unworthy of modding? People said that about my Cougar, I still say that about Civics, its just opinions.
