not trying to call you out or anything, but thats not true. Torbs and my roommate both had their Xbox flash the rings this year and they were both well well over the 'warranty', and definetly was opened...and used for years.. The turn around from calling it in, to receiving the fixed/refurb 360 was like 2 weeks.

MS Policy is:
1st owner (not used)
3 Years for Red Lights / 1 Year for everything else
Warranty sticker NOT broken
They send you a xbox coffin / you send it back, wait and recieve a refurbished model in return.If that's true they got lucky, usually MS makes you send them the shipping cost back.
The average turnaround time is NOT two weeks.
It doesn't really matter to me what you think MS policy is, I know it, and I stay in business becuase of it.
So for everybody else, call up MS, and if you don't have a warranty, call me; Or if you want it fixed perm.

Yes over the 3 years, nope sticker was not broken.
All you have to do is call them, tell them you have the 3 red rings, not much else or more, and they will send you a box and you ship it off. And yes, it was 2 weeks
both times. You don't need to tell them you bought it 2nd hand. They don't make a big fuss over it beacuse of a class action lawsuit they had over that malfunction. So in a nut shell, they fix it for free. -
