Yup i just got back from sandbagging north of the airport. I saw that fire. and actually they are picking up all the volenteers right now. So pretty much the city is giving up. Sucks id still be out there if I could.

Could be interesting. Dilworth Fire was going to leave a truck in Oakport because all the roads would get shut down but it sounded like another department was going to take it. Coworker from DFD is no longer online either - so maybe they're trying to make it up there.
This was my girlfriends grand parents house. They had evacuated already so there fine. No fire departments were able to make it out there and let it burn down.

Apperently it's 32+ degree for the next week with snow on Monday and heavy snow on Tuesday.

Reported dike breech on riverview drive. Seems people are trying to contain it. No idea of the severity tho.

Oh really? Yeah just hurt they were working on it, and it "broke" and the police basically yelled for them to run and get out. No one was being allowed back in. Haven't heard any more.

I am packed and ready to go. I do not plan on leaving fargo unless they force me. We have pumps and generators at my rents place ready to go. I moved all my basement stuff as i live right across from meritcare... My main floor will be fine, but the basement will be full if something happens.

This is getting rediculous. I know we have a lot more troops coming in. We are gonna have like 1700 here. There is about 900 now.

Don't Joel's parents live in that riverview area? If so, has anyone heard how they are doing over there. I seen his posts from last night about giving up, then starting the pumps back up again and staying on it.

I stopped at joels place last night but he was moving things out of the house and wasn't there. The water is very high on the house. That dike is a doosy.
