im sure you have it figured out, but from this last pic, it does not seam like the driver side turbo is going to clear the alt? maybe i am not judging distance enough

I would say your about right on. The alt. clears the air filter by about 1/4" and the the radiator by a 1/4" again. That only took about 3 hours to rebuild the bracket and remount the idler in the right spot. The motor plate changed the alignment for the idler pulley and I didn't have any room to push the crank pulley and alternator out any further.

Worked on it most of the weekend, 63Vette came over and helped out a lot. I drank beer and watched him again bust ass. Anyways we got all the rear suspension stuff in, just needs to be setup. Jim made modifications to my radiator to accept AN fittings. I ordered a inlet adapter to AN for my waterpump that apparently doesn't fit my waterpump like they said it would. Jim welded that up for me. Radiator is installed had to re-modify mounting points to clear wastegates and core support. Headers are installed, turbos are on and exhaust is back on. I need to pick up some shims for the gear swap. I thought I had enough shims but I guess not.

That's a -16 line. My thermostat opening is smaller than it. It has a -20 return.

Thanx guys, I just hope I can get it down the track without any issues.

I was just told where I can lose another 40 lbs. unless it has already been done, but I doubt it.

It's getting closer. Only a few more things left. Need to finish a few small wiring jobs behing the dash, finish plumbing the AMS-1000, reinstall all dash panels, reinstall interior, set-up suspension and get an alignment done.
I got a lot of misc. stuff done this weekend. I re-located the tranny cooler from the back to the front and installed a cooling fan on it. Got all the fuel system done. Had the fittings welded in for the blow-off valve and O2 sensor put in. Fabricated new brackets for the shifter cable to work with this shifter. Cleaned up some more wiring.
I took a look at where that 40 lbs. is at. I think it is way too much work for what it is. It would be a lot of cutting, looks like a job maybe for next winter.

I am going to try to get it on the road this week to verify the tune. I don't think too much has really changed. If all goes well, I may try to get some launches in this weekend. If launches go well and datalogs look good I may try an attempt at a full pass.

If launches go well and datalogs look good I may try an attempt at a full pass.

keep up the good work! this thing is bad ass, i would love to see it. So what is all involved in removing this mysterious 40lbs?
