Hello All,
I am Dan from St. Cloud or leecheater on the forums. I drive a BMW 330ci for my daily driver and an 87 MKIII Supra with 2JZ swap for fun in the summer. There has already been a thread posted in the drag section about her.http://www.fargostreet.com/forums//showthread.php?t=18314
Here are a couple of photos of my cars.

My nephew and I are working on upgrades this winter. We will be installing HKS 272s, Billet 67 dbb turbo with custom housing and perhaps a spool valve. I don't expect to be a DaveH but do expect to get her into the 10's this summer. I am also getting a roll bar so I can drop below 11.5 without getting kicked off the track. I know she is heavy and probably slow because of that fact. It should be pretty quick with the upgrades along with my current set up. JUst want a fun pretty quick car to drive on the street. She has dyno'd at 550 rwhp on 22 lbs of boost, I am now running 26, so I knowq she is above 600. I have not had many traction issues up to this point but am thinking I may have with starting to use the 2 step on the AEM. I am also thinking about eventual new clutch and getrag tranny.

ihaveaids: Thanks for the compliment. I am just hoping the Supra doesn't not have too many reliability issues this spring. Last year once we chased down the leaks and misfiring we had a real enjoyable summer spanking Mustangs, STI's and a few others.

Gary,
The black 04 was 3x the car over the 01 330ci. Even though it was more money, it's a hell of a lot nice car. Got my snow tires on her last night. Tool off the high performance Michelin's. Immediate big difference in driveability. As you know I have vacillated quite a few times. I did hear that the Billet 67 can be altered to a twin scroll. I was thinking of trying it with a divided housing and spool valve. Sean told me that you had a turbo with twin scroll and spool valve and the car was almost undriveablem because it spooled too quick. What's the story?

That is divided turbo housing and open exhaust manifold.

yeah i did it on my buick and with street tires it was just stupid, no grip but it had to have been making 700ft-lbs as i would get 12psi by 2800rpm, would whistle some at idle even. I simply blocked one side of the turbo with a plate to see what it would be like and decided not to follow through with it at the time.

Thanks all for the compliments. I have a lot to learn and hopefully will be able to pick your brains. Nephew and I are making plans to drive our cars up to Fargo this spring and try out your track. Should be a lot of fun.
