Not all the DSM's are running that! I seen some run that but I also did see some slower 1st gen and 2nd gen ones in my bracket..
But I will run them if they want they just have to go all motor w/ me no boost

Nowhere in here did I say I was going to beat everybody! I just said I will probally have the FASTEST NA SOHC motor in Grandforks/ Fargo.. Boost is a totally different story.. I almost went boost but I like the sound and power of all motor. Plus nobody around here does all motor sohc buildups! Idid! well see..

Dont doubt somebodys time just because I know how to put together a SOHC motor on stock internals and make all you guys w/ your B16/b18 3-5$k Swaps look bad getting smokes my little hatch w/ 1.6 sohc motor in it. It will be on as soon as I finish it up this weekend and get a chance to break it in real quick..

Sorry I'm late to reply here, but I still call bullshit!!!!! Let's hear from all the people that can vouch for you running that 14.6 @ 99 on bald street tires with no nitrous or turbo kit on your D series. What kind of HP and TQ numbers does that thing put out? And there's a couple good points that you don't have a clue on in your post there that I'd like to point out. Jerry's B16 Civic never had nitrous on it. And not all B18 swaps are $3-5K, mine was $800! You honestly can't tell me that your Civic, weighing MORE than mine did, and having LESS power than mine did, was running faster in the 1/4 that I did. That's my reasoning for calling bullshit on you. Hell even if you really did somehow run that time w/ your D16, I'd like to know how much $$$$ you had to put into it and still be that slow!!!!

1000 dollars including the 400 I paid for complete z6 motor from Rich @ Exhaust Pro's a while back, because adam spun a bearing right before I took car over..And about Jerry's car that was just what I heard from someone that was there, I didnt know if it was true or not.. You got lucky to find a b18 motor for that unless it is the lS motor you are talking about because I was talking about the VTEC motors not those.. You can call what you want I know what I ran and if I can find the time slips from that day I will scan and put them up!
Regardless what you guys think I love the little D motors thats why I keep fucking w/ them.

What do you mean by that? It is built for all motor and If I want to spray I will but on that track I wont just the street to get a little bit more edge.

I know that boost makes alot more for the $ but you can make descent power all motor if its done right, and can be just about as fast.

Thats a good point.. But There are 9 sec b16's all motor and there is a SOHC honda that only made 150 hp all motor but ran a 12.6 @ 105mph on 94 octane!
Which it was on the stock bottom end too. www.allmotorsohc.com its on home page.. They blew there built motor so threw stock one in..

Tha car more than likely weighs in @ 1600lbs. You building a race car or a street car?

I ran faster on 92 octane and a FMU! 12.6 for a NA SOHC is impressive. But full blown race cars are a completly diff story than street cars.

NO and I repeat NO B16 has ever gone 9s in the 1/4 mile all motor.

All of the 9 second b series motors (2 I think?) have been 2.0+ liters. Definately not B16s. K series in the 9s is more feasable, however Skunk2's motor is a 2.7L. Little more displacement making it easier there.

Bisi has run 10s on SOHC motors for years w/ carbs whats your point?

Even then they started out @ b16 longblock and built it up that does include boring and stroking. I did that to mine so what does that make mine? Not all motor d16.. ?? It still is.. Ya and I am saving up for the Special "K" to drop in hopefully over next winter "I Hope"/..~ Shit man I think you guys are taking this way to serious I am trying to have fun here and this might be going to far. This is the 62nd post on my intro, which seems to be the longest.. Just set the new record for that
