Im picking the STi for lots of reasons...

Evos have some problems it seems but idk bout the MR

Tjams is right this poll is off cuz it shoul have been the EVOvs STi not EVO MR vs the STi

almost every article i read about the EVO vs STi said that the power was way better in the STi, EVO's run at 19psi and are kinda laggy. Also handling to the EVo was only slightly better than the STi...why? Said that the Evo came w/ more aggressive suspension cuz the STi was built to still be civil to the market out there and came w/ lower spring rates. Also they said the interior felt cheap in the EVO compared to the STi and the interior is how its been since some of the first Evo vs STi comparisons oversees. I think the seats in the STi blow however compared to the EVO's. The EVO's seats feel like my JDM seats from an STi Version 6, but the US STi seats are made for us FAT Americans and suck

Basically the STi is sweet i love it, its got the DCCD differential and the Evo doesnt
Trow some STi pink springs on ur STi and it will handle better than the EVo

But wait till the Spec C gets here...im sure it will be impressive but not nearly as impressive as the cars they already get in japan

I read that they tested a JDM WRX STi Version 8( with a 2.0 mind u) vs a US WRX STI (w/ the 2.5) and the JDM STi had a lap time 2seconds better than the US Version. Just goes to show you how potent those cars are over there, and how things get marketed here, Hence the springs on the STi

So in all reality even our performance cars here in the states arent that great

that depends on if you include the cost of replacement clutchs as part of basic bolt on mods

i'd take the EVO, for the already sweet suspension set up. It takes a lot more to calibrate and dial in a suspension, than it does to bolt on more power.

give the STi a set of good sway bars and a set of STi pink Springs and the STi is just as potent suspension wise.

I like the evo just for the simple fact I could replace the spark plugs in less the four hours.
It takes me an hour on my car and im sick of it...LONG LIVE THE I4

You havnt sat in my JDM Version 6 seats then, they beat the fuck out of the US seats...my seats are black w/ read sholder and leg bolsters but JDM Version 8 and Version 8 spec C seats are just like mine only in the Black/blue color

My JDM seats are the perfect match between Comfort and function, They work great for autox and hug like crazy yet i can still drive to Minneapolis without hating them

If the US STi has one big problem it is the stock seats

Replaced mine in under 45 minutes...including running to the dealer to get a different coil pack

I like the Evo MR and I voted for it. But in a way I think the Scooby is better built, and sounds better with a exhaust. I see a few really modded STis here and they sound so awesome. But the MR probably has the better all out performance.

i would have to take the evo because they are much rarer than an STI but i do love both... i like the way they both look but i like the way an sti sounds with exhaust
