Poll on STi or EVO MR

Here's my 2 cents. The STi Is a great car, weak transmission (front diff), slightly better reliability. But on the other hand, the Evo MR is a much better all-around performer (import sports car of the year) and has a much larger aftermarket but still the usual Mitsu. issues. While more refined, they are still there.
I would say if you plan on keeping it stock or near stock.....STi. It's a bit more soft around town too. But if you plan on seriously modding it....Evo.

For fun factor I vote for the EVO (true rally car). The sti is a cheater with its 2.5L big block. The spec-c on the other hand is the best 2L on the planet period.

Did i mention the evo MR runs mid 14s at the track.

I didnt mention troys times.

Not to bring back a thread from the dead but, hey dummy, if you can't acknowledge the STi as a seperate vehicle from the regular WRX then why should we acknowledge the EVO over the Lancer, Beyatch!!!!

its basically like this... Subaru backs up their cars better imo... What i have heard from evo owners at home is that once you leave that store and come back with some kind of abuse your warranty will not cover the damage... But, Subaru is a lot more understanding... Plus the tranny's in the sti's are almost unbreakable. As for whoever said you could mod the evo better... Well of course that motor has been in production for almost 18 years. But its not true... People modding the sti's are getting excellent results.... In terms of reliability i would go with an sti, because subaru once again backs up their shit. As for steering and handling... the only way your going to figure that out if you take your car to a track and or autocross it... the sti's handle very well and are barely below the evo... As for quater mile... everyone else already commented. But it all falls down to this... You could wait a few years until the sti's get a new look and a little faster motor (which imo would take them forever to start coming out with mod's for) or you could just get one now. if you don't like the spoiler... and you get black... you can always trade me.
I like them and don't find a problem with them... they are designed for a reason, I hope that somewhat helps your decision.

I couldn't decide which was better so I asked images.google.com to tell me. I search for best car and got this. So you're all wrong.
