hell yeah dude. screw the in car ps2. snes is the way to go.i think a fargostreet lan would be cool.
As for the fargostreet LAN, who else would be interested? If we can get 10+ peeps interested then let's do this. I can get space at the multiband complex where I use to work (when it was corp tech at a different building, still got friends there) and provide all the equipment (cabling, server, etc) Only one terminal computer will be allowed access though (I monitor network traffic tightly) and before you bring your computer, please use AVG antivirus (its free go to http://www.grisoft.com) and Adaware/bazooka before you plug into the network.
Just give me a heads up.

Or mabye a Nes because it is front loading.

Earthbound is one of my favorite games. I managed to nab a copy a couple years ago in a used games bin. Totally fun and doesn't follow the "usual rpg format"

I would loooove to have an NES or SNES in my car. With people putting PS2s in their new cars it would look cool to have a game system matching the car from about the same years. Like an NES in my '87....
p.s. I also find it very funny that one of the biggest and busiest threads on a car forum is about video games.

Hmmm....my dad has a 1979 Plymouth Volare w/ a hemi swap...time to wire up my old Pong system into it... And a black and white monitor

Your dad is a god among us mortals.
My dad is into Rodding/Drag racing, he has many rebuilt cars in his garage. I will post them up some time. 1940 Chevy coupe/Ford coupe are by far his nices cars.
The 40 Chevy has a chopped top and purple metal flake paint ohh its to die for.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for the old muscle cars as well. To be perfectly honest, he just bought the Volare about a week ago for like $600 from a lady who was selling it for her son who didn't want it anymore. I knew the guy that had it before, he (the previous owner) actually got the motor for like $100 out of some old late 60's POS car at an auction sale. To his surprise the car started right up and had no compression problems so he pulled the motor and swapped it into his Volare and had ultimate sleeper.
My dad is really lucky when it comes to finding deals, he bought a 1971 Challenger w/ a 383 w/ triple 2 barrels for $1000...that car is now sporting a Dana 44 rearend and runs on alcohol. Too bad he never races/lets me race it.
