i never knew that exhibition driving was just a city ordinance. I always thaught it was a moving violation just like speeding or something. Is that why if you do that stuff out of town you dont get in trouble for it?

i talked to dahl tonight. He said it was a city ordinance and that any check of my police record or through the police database would NOT show the voilation. So obviously they did some hardcore in depth looking to find it....also the reason for dropping me wasnt "exhibition driving" they lableed it as "racing/illegal racing" or something like that

        It's definitely your insurance company...

I got pulled over in Georgetown, took the cops six, yes six miles to catch me cause I was doin 115..clocked me in Kragnes at 75...

He gave me a warning and said I'm sure your parents pay your insurance so I'll let you off...sure enough the next day the insurance compnay called up and knew everything...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

ask them what the law is for DB on the "engine noise" and let them know they are free to bring their meter and test your car anytime anywhere.

^worked for me more then once regarding muffler(funny story) and bump in the trunk^

^thats what I was told^....so define "loud engine noise." If they are gonna ticket you for something without written guidelines that apply to everyone across the board then your fine will be thrown out or reduced. The cop just told me to have a nice day:)

Just agrue with em. There is no written law that says that your can only be "this" loud.
