I'd say go B-series, or boosted D. If it's your only car i'd do an all-motor B series. Not a fan of boosted cars for daily drivers. Or if u really want get a B series and boost it, and have some fun.

        Current Cars:
08 Honda Ruckus - Stunt Machine
        93 Subaru Impreza L - DD/ Winter beater
90 Honda CRX - Project car
        90 Honda CRX Dx - Burnt (R.I.P.) - Racecar

        Past Cars: 85 Chevy C-10, 87 Dodge D-50, 91 Honda Prelude Si, 91 Buick Regal, 91 Acura Integra Ls, 87 Mazda RX-7, 90 Honda Civic Si, 91 Honda Civic Si, 89 Chevy S-10, 91 Honda Crx Hf, 91 Acura Integra Rs, 95 Subaru Impreza L, 92 Acura Integra GSR, 89 Mazda RX-7 (LT1), 88 Mazda RX-7, 92 Civic Cx, 87 Mazda RX-7 TII

If it were my ride, I'd install a wideband O2 kit and boost it. You can keep the psi low and still get a significant hp increase. Old DSM turbo, HF manifold, and proper fuel delivery components, blah blah blah.

I think either route is respectable. The swap would prolly leave you with less risk of a catastophic 'oops'.... but more risk of random electronic gremlins.

IMHO, if you have the money to think about a B swap, you can afford to do a turbo D the right way. Go talk to SLS.

              no race car? becuz homeowner...

Shit, if you know what you are doing, and do it right, a boosted car is just as reliable as a modded N/A. My car has run for probly 6k miles with the only problem being a leaking oil line, and that is kind of a higher milage car.

I should add that I do have H series conversion mounts for an EG....but I think if I do get a different engine I would go for a B series.

What's a ballpark figure on what I could spend to get a reasonable turbo setup on my D?
