As both my parents said, BT is the hard part. Coincidently my dad just retired from the AF and my mom has been retired for over a year. Both in the AF... mom outranked dad by a tad... she retired as a full bird colonel.

I'm in Biloxi Mississppi now and it's awesome to say I've so far successfully gone an entire winter without seeing any snow. I'm pumped. Btw, MTI's are crazy. Mine ate dust bunnies off the floor, shampoo, and various other odd things. Needless to say he was a little out there. He moved to alaska though.

I have heard of DI's but not MTI's do they change acronyms just because they can, or is it that way just because of the different branches?

It's just the different branches....In the Air force, we called the restroom the latrine, the marines call it the head...they all have different wordings...
