they left blood? have the police test that shit.x2
DNA in the system is always a plus.

I hope you made a report. You'd be surprised how much merchandise is found when cops do search warrants in town. Granted, not as much as we'd all like, but people do get their stuff back. Just make sure to write down serial numbers, makes, and models when you buy expensive equipment like that. Those things are what get items back to their rightful owners should they be found during warrants or other searches. They were able to get back a stack of CD's when my car got hit a few years ago. Granted, I didn't get my equipment back, but I got about 50 CD's, which was more than I expected.
Good luck.

is anything getting done to prevent this shit from happening holy crap like the people that are doing this are for one horrible at breaking in and stealing stuff two not that smart at taking stuff out just making more damage then what the part they are taking is worth. the police came and no they didn't test the blood. gay right? they took a utility knife left behind and if they did their job they would get prints off of it someone is probably on probation. other than that if i cant find out myself im pretty much screwed and this happened in dilworth you would be surprised how many thieves live here all who break into cars and since my car was parked on the street with 20+ cars and they only broke into mine its targeted

Did you have stickers or any other signs on the outside of your vehicle???? Or bump the shit out of it right to your house?
If a thief sees a vehicle with a really loud stereo, they may fallow it to figure our where they live to come back in the future.
It may even be someone you know. Cause they would know where it is, what is there and what you have for security measures.

Am I to believe that the police should do laps around my house to make sure that nobody breaks in even though I leave the doors open, blinds open and advertise what is inside?
Remove the temptation and prevent the smash and grab thefts.

well im not saying the cops have to circle your house its just that when something like this does happen cops dont do much after. they just write a report then go back to doing nothing. even if you dont bump the shit out of your system or any other things they could still go around and find what you have. what do you mean by remove the temptation? like take out the stereo in your car or what.....
-
yea, DNA testing is expensive, for something small like a stereo they wont do DNA testing.

A smash and grab theft isn't that important in the grand scheme of things. By remove the temptation I mean don't leave a ton of CDs, use an alarm, lock the doors, don't leave valuables, etc.

park inside...
