I agree with tony for the most part. I know it was fucked up we took over ther land but in doing so we gave them a choice. They can live I society with everyone else make an honest living and be just as much a part of the country as us. Or they can live in a reservation have there own rules/laws and get a government check. Which a lot chose the reservation route. I see very little ways of a decent income besides casinos and hotels. Not trying to be stereotypical but its what I see. And those are usually the ones who make everything regarding there culture a big deal. I am not racist and do not think they should be wiped out but I think they should have the same ability as everyone else not looked up or down at.

That's the way things have been forever, and that's how it most likely always will be...

when I lived in washington there was a place called tatanka take-out across the bridge.. how's that for respecting native religion? I made the trip to tacoma a few times just for bison burritos. You wanna know why bison were sacred? They made good damn eating.. and good clothes and tools and decorations too. Using the bison as a school mascot isn't an insult - UNLESS you're saying the school sucks. That's about it right there. People take pride in being the Bison, being the Fighting Sioux, and you want to call it disrespectful? Way to go.
