its neat.

NOTHING!! the small trubo feeds into the dump of the bigger turbo!

Wow that's a fricking puzzle to look at. So how the fuck is the small turbo being powered? my head hurts it's too early haha
-
the exhaust was never entering the small turbo, they couldnt get it to tune right so they just went with the 42.

if you look you can see there is a huge valve on the downpipe of the big turbo, that shuts off the dp. then the smaller turbo is fed from the downpipe when the valve is shut and the big turbo isn't up to speed.
the second valve on the intake of the big turbo looks as if it blocks off the big turbo's inlet to allow the small turbo to spool the big turbo.
see simple... lol

i see now, i didnt know they were using a valving system on it. it makes more sence. i can see the smaller turbo being a choke point for the bigger if fed other way.

they should have set it up with a 3rd wastegate to feed the small turbo from the manifold and left the valves on the big turbo to open based on vacume or a set psi of boost. it would seem to allow some flow through them to get them up to speed.

looks like a overly complicated mix of a compound and seq. system
those guys would be running high pressure ratios on a drag setup........ a straight compound system would have worked perfectly and been 1/3 as complicated
compounds shine at high press. ratios.........seq. FTL all together
