Attention: WRX owners

higher mileage 02-03 wrx have been known to have rod-bearing issues, definitely check on/around turbo housing/pipes to see if someone has modded and returned to stock. Too many people do up/down/exhaust and tune, then return to stock and clear codes for a sale. derek is right though, tranny is the biggest issue.

as mentioned there can be a raw gas smell in winter.
yeah look at the clutch and tranny check em over good.
pay attention to any modifications made, ask if all codes accommodate the mods.
turbos arent cheap to replace so check that over good too. most ppl buy wrxs to drive like its a wrx so take that into consideration as well. -
