I have bought a 1992 honda civic bumper from them and the fitment was 5/10

    Interesting...was the car straight?

We have had some ify fitments, but on beater cars that had been in accidents or had a group of junk body panels that nothing fit too well.

I wouldn't put Certifit on my personal DD car, but I wouldn't be afraid to put it on my fiancee's car haha.

Although I was an industrial painter, my boss owned a body shop and told me not to get parts from them, always shitty fitment.

what kind of price difference on average are they from oem? any one know? is it really worth it with the "shitty fittment and harder to paint"

the price difference is substantial if you are willing to paint the body parts, if not, buy from a junkyard. headlights are >100 cheaper minimum. the biggest problem we have had with their parts are the hoods being dented upon arrival from shipping. they are also not "harder" to paint, that was misleading. our painter said that different products are used to seal or prime them so a little extra labor is required.

we did a hood, both fenders, a bumper, and both headlights on a grand am for 500 bucks in parts compared to a 300 dollar oem bumper...

I know you said you had a hard time getting the hoods in not dented. But what is your shipping luck on fenders, other thin sheet metal parts. I'm looking to buy from them, don't know if it is better to just pick up the stuff.

hoods are the only thing we have ever had a problem with.

sorta-fit,,,,, I've dealt with their shit a few times. Anything metal comes dented but kinda fits, anything plastic just doesn't fit.
