    A woman was killed Sunday at the NHRA Arizona Nationals in Chandler, Ariz., when she was struck by debris from an accident involving Top Fuel driver Antron Brown.

          It always seemed really unsafe there at firebird... like you could just jump out on the track... Good samaritan is like 4 blocks away from our house down there. They new she was dead already if they brought her their, not exatly what you would call a full service hospital.

          no race car? becuz homeowner...

            im suprised that they dont run a safety cable on the tires on those things, i bet they start now

                Pretty sure Formula 1 does. You don't see tires flying everywhere like you used to when they wreck. But those tires aren't nearly as large or moving 300mph...

                      No. I've seen videos of these tires leave the car, exit the view of the camera (hundreds of feet into the air), then come back a couple seconds later hundreds of yards away. You'd need a ceiling, not a fence.
                      Edit: And the ceiling would have to catch the damn tire, otherwise the thing would bounce off and come back down with even more intensity.
