Xbox 360

Streaming music is about all for the first...and that is only limited to game developers who add that to their games. 360 allows you to play your music in ANY game. But i wasnt saying that vs. what you were saying earlier just pointing those cool little things it does is all.
Its on again on MTV for those who missed it the first time.

lol... not true. We've been streaming Divx movies, weather information, music videos, mp3's for a long long time....
You didnt "mod" your xbox did you?
MP3's i already knew you could stream in your xbox dashboard but i'm talking about listening to your burned music in games themselves. Not all of xboxs games supported that, but the 360 lets you listen to your music in any game.

yeah thats what i thought...i was saying that a normal xbox was very limited in streaming capabilities compared to the 360.
What mods are you runnin anyway?

Yes the new xbox is called "Xbox 360". It's a totally new system compared to the first. Much faster, better looks (at least imo), and it also comes with alot of goodies.
Man i've got to get me some mods for my box...:(

freaking pimp...I highly doubt it will be over $500... my guess is 300-400.
Microsoft will eat the cost of the hardware in the xbox to sell games... thats where the real $$$ is

Knowing microsoft, it wouldn't surprise me if they priced it @ $200 just to get it out cheaper than ps3. From everything I've understood about consoles, they don't make any money off the console itself, but rather the games, so to me it makes sense to get it out as the cheapest console on the market and release a plethora of games with it for about $5-$10 more than their PS3 counterparts (initially...bring them to the same price shortly after christmas). Microsoft is very profit driven (duh!) and I think they were disappointed w/ xbox sales last time. Don't expect them to make that mistake again.

not any more they don't but back when it first came out they were losing something like $75 per unit. Same with Sony. All the money is in the software (at least initially...until technology becomes cheaper). This has been a truth in gaming since the days of Coleco, Atari and Activision game consoles.
