Dunno, can't really recommend any racing games, I'm primarily a RPG'er...or more specifically a MMORPG'er (Everquest, SWG, etc...)

Here is a good one for the PS2, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, you buy and sell cars, and mod them, more performance than visual, and then you race people on the streets of tokyo, all based on real streets. It's fun and addicting. You race groups, and it's all about getting cash and upgrading. It has all of the best cars also. That, GT3 & 4, and NFSU are all my favs. If you like drifting, you have to go with Initial D Ver. 3 in the mall, and it's on PS2 aslo, that's the shit.

i hate rpgs...no patience whatsoever

I"m all about GT3 (on jct's PS2).... might actually buy my own PS2 when GT4 comes out though, so I can play it 24-7 and have no life what so ever....
Fan of Halo as well (of course X-box). FPS games (Rainbow Six Series) on Computer, gotta be my favorite there....

how about some gt3 challenges then? how fast can you make a fr car with 300hp or less (400m)? how fast can you get around midfield with a fr car and less than 350hp? anything is fair game, just make sure you have a replay saved for proof

if you really want to test your skills, we have 2 televisions, 2 ps2's and a link cable at my place -
Out there, i've never done a lan set up but we got a few guys at my place that are interested. what else do we need besides a few ethernet cords and ps2s/tvs

Played AC for a bit too, loved that game but school and work got the most of me so I quit that. Recently tried FFXI, its fine, but not my style. I was actually considering City of Hero's as that looks like a fantastic game and they are going to release an expansion named City of villians which will add the obvious effect of being able to create your own super villian. Have heard great reviews, but maybe I should hold till EQ 2 eh?

If you guys need help connecting a few computers to do a LAN give me a hollar, tell me what game you want and I will either A) do it for you or B) show you how to do it step by step, I've adminned LANs for numerous games at local LAN events (check out http://www.fargogaming.com)- Call Of Duty - I challenge anyone to this game
- BF1942 Desert COmbat
- UT2k4
- Doom 3 - Horrible MP
- Far Cry - Server edition is finally out, no more P2P MP play
- Halo
- CS (counter-strike) - Wouldn't like to do it as I hate steam
but you name it I can host it for you. Alright enough geeking out for me.

Its a shame non of us play that game. I think the only game we got thats Lanable is SOCOM II, which we normally would just play online against 8 others.

Tell ya what guys if you want to arrange a fargostreet LAN give me a heads up, I'm in the works of building another server. If you can find a place (we can use my place too, huge place) but whatever. Can be either a PS2/Xbox or a BYOC (bring your own computer) just an idea.
