no its vtec peter, holy shit at least i think it is....god i hope im right......I couldn't remember if DX's were or not, I thought it was the EX's that were the only non-Si Civics to have VTEC.
But yeah, my supervisor was asking me if I knew much about the Honda VTEC system, and mentioned that his son wanted a coupe, I gave him the general run down that a Civic Si would be more expensive than a d-series Civic, but that a b-series motorswap could yield more performance than the d-series and could cost less. I don't know where Honda motor prices are at, or the value of the cars themselves, to be honest. Nissan s/z/r-chassis is where my head has been since I got my license.
To the seller: I'll run it by my supervisor, and I'll get back with ya.

It is non-vtec but pretty damn fast for non-vtec. And it has no rust and an excellent body.

Yes my engine is non-vtec!!! But is a quick little Y-7... have beat like 3 Y8's which are the same car but vtec....Also as stated above... my car is in perfect shape pretty much.. and comes with 15" rota attacks for a little extra if interested that is...!!

bump for a fellow hondaer. Also glad to see someone actually asking what the car is worth, and not going overboard and asking 2-3 times the value. Goodluck with the sale.

What was wrong with the Y8's?DX = 106hp

Yeah, i have seen the car do it. Nothing wrong with the Ex's and at least a couple of them also had intake and exhaust. Idk if it was just that he is a better driver (he is good), but i think his motor is just a freak. It happens sometimes that some motors are assembled perfectly and everything jsut works out.
