Bad idea. If the bolt is not stripped you will strip it by using vice grips

I have a soldering iron, could I just set it on the bolt and let it warm up?

Also, do you think an impact driver might work?

No, soldering iron probably won't work. Use an impact with a 6 pt socket.

ALWAYS use a 6pt socket for tight bolts...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

No. A soldering iron is for wires, not bolts.

Just go to the store and buy a propane torch. They are pretty cheap. Heating the bolt up along with a large breaker bar will remove it pretty easily.

None, because ice cream has no bones.
