thats cool, hopefully i can make it there with mine this spring, without the turbo though. gotta buy some other stuff and get the tune for the 60#ers dialed in NA before i throw boost at it. otherwise ill have that blue cutlass again, (bros car). its not bad though with 470hp and 520lb/tq

nice cars man. although i'm not a domestic fan myself, the GN has always been a favorite of mine :)...do you know exactly what went wrong in the GTO or did you just wake up one day and it had had a fire?

no i was just goin down the road about 40mph and it started on fire. either the clutch line blew/melted or the fuel line got rubbed through, either way it was the cars problem. many people hacked on me about the nitrous install, but i have done many and did it right, double fused power, good lines and stuff.
anyway im making some progress this week, got my header tubing and flanges. injectors and tuning software shipped on friday, going to try getting the motor mounts finalized and the trans crossmember drawn up.
Another thing on the list is to take that big ass turbo off the eclipse and step down to a 50-trim comparable one, should be a bit more driveable at that point. also put a damn muffler on it, 3" straight is pretty loud after awhile.

figured i could post up a little on my background since im bored.
Ive been working on cars for years and done alot of different things. was in the military for a few years. went to korea and japan, got to drive a badass silvia with a sr20 and a t-66 on it, 570hp. also a r-32 skyline that was just a bpu, wasnt impressed by it much. my favorite was a big mod Evo 6, that is personally my favorite evo. had ported head, forged shortblock, 272 cams and a 60-1 on it. that thing really hauled ass and it could do donuts at will. learned a little about the Tskuba circuit in my stay as well.
After that i moved to Ft Hood TX and made a bunck of friends. one was a ls2 GTO with cam/headers/exhaust and 3600 stall. another was a SRT-4 that ran a 12.6 on the stock turbo, now it has ported head, cams and i think a gt35 on it. he does 12.4 on pump gas and 15psi now. best friend at the time had a 04 STI with headers, exhaust, intake and just recently picked up a 04 cobra convert. lastly our club had 3 turbo ls1 camaro/TA's.
So anyway im pretty good at tuning and installing stuff. i enjoy mapping out different combos for people though and really good at turbo systems and such.
OH forgot, me and my dad built a Mach Z drag sled, pretty much stock motor yet but direct drive chassis and our own suspension system. And have a 440 mod sled that used to run 11.4 at sabin when we did that years ago, now i have a T3 turbo on it, but have to work out a few ignition problems before i can try it out.
