    I'm still tossing up between tubro 302 or turbo 351. I shouldn't need more than 500hp on a street car either I'm still kind of shooting for alittle gas mileage out of this stang.
    I know if I stay with the 302 I'll be stroking it to a 332 for sure.

    Any place around there that will build and ship a motor to me? Dickinson is alittle over priced for building and installing motors so I figure if I get a motor built and sent to me I'll just install it myself and hopefuly save some money. The motor will be going into a 91 Mustang.

    The 91 is my DD. I have thid problem with leaving cars stock... Right after I bought the 91 I put full exhaust on it while it still had dealer plates and put in a system.
    I don't know if I've been clear enough on this post or not so to try to clear things up.
    I'm not looking to make a totle drag car I'm kinda thinkin about making a crazy fast DD for year round. This is for the 91 GT. I'm thinkin 332 stroker, heads, cam custom or not (just somthing with a rough idle), and posible turbos. It needs to be relieable and get alright mileage when I'm not stomping on it.
    I am desent with performance on the modular 4.6 SOHC but don't know jack about the 5.0 sence I've only wanted one and picked one up about 4 months ago. Thats why I'm askin you guys with the 5.0s about modding it or not. I've heard the parts are cheaper than the 4.6s and am just looking for prices and where to get the work done as of right now...

    Not 100% sure on how much hp I want, but I am trying to keep it a street car because for now it will be a daily driver.
    any idea how much it would be to get a 332 stoker, heads, custom cam, and decent twin turbos (single if it's better).

    As of right now I'm thinkin 332 stroker with a mild cam and keeping the compression low. Later down the road probly twin turbos, uless it's cheaper than I'm thinking.

    I've resently bought a 91 Mustang GT and am strongly thinkin about modding it, but I'm kind of wanting it to be dynoed and modded at the same place. If anyone know of anybody that does that or is very good with Mustangs you should let me know. I've been trying to get ahold of DynoTune USA for the last couple month, but he is normaly closed by the time I get done working and has yet to return any of my e-mails so looks like i'm going to try some one else.

    Actually, he's from Dickinson here I do believe. I see him driving around when everyone comes home on the breaks. I don't know him personally though. The kit is a mugen (replica I'm sure but haven't been close enough to look at it), and he has some random white rims for it. The car is clean for sure though. It's been for sale for quite some time on bisman...

    I already have a 1st gen Probe. Not a GT it's just an LX, but I realy like the 2nd Gen Bodys. I was kinda planning on putting the Semi Body kit on it and puttin the KLDE or KLZE in it somewhere down the road. Guess I could keep my mind open though. what can you tell me about your GT? Or the other ones on here for sale? Pics would be very helpful.

    Alright here is what I found today.
    94 GT Probe 2.5L Manual tranny 92,000 Miles.
    Guy doesn't have a price for me, but wants me to toss out an offer. The car's exterior is desent considering the year. Paint is cracked on the rear drive side fender, door ding on the rear driverside very small crack on the passenger side break light. Tires have no air and I don't know if they hold air. Wheels are in very good shape, but I didn't look super close.
    Motor doesn't run right now the guy things the timing jumped ahead or back alittle??? (is that even possible) also things the water pump may be going out. no battery. Interior could be ok after you clean out all the mice shit and dead mice... and add a CD player.

    I'm thinkin offering about 500 bucks or should I go lower, more or not even try to get it??
    Any advice would be good cuz I don't know jack shit about the 2.5L when they are broken down. I just know they are high maintenance cars and have shitty trannys but i've wanted one for a long time and if the motor is realy bad I could just get KLDE or KLZE.

    hum.... what about using a SE instead of a GT. I know the motor mounts and Electrical wouldn't be the same. How bad would that get?

    thanks a lot. I'm just asking cuz I found a nice GT Probe, but it's an auto. If I would buy it how hard/or pricy would it be to swap in a manual tranny sence I could get the KLZE motor, tranny, and ECU.

    Would it be worth it/possible to use an autotragic with a KLZE?
    When you buy the KLZE does the stock Probe tranny fit it?
    What would be the best bang for the buck computer with the KLZE and do you need to dyno tune it or can you do it in your garage?

    Selling the Probe... Got to sell toys to buy toys. I've replaced Radiator and repaired the power strearing pump (hose had a cut in it). Other than that I've just did acouple oil changes.
    The car has about 102,000 miles on it.
    Electronic seatbelts don't work (replaced acouple parts and they still don't work)
    The rear defroster don't work.
    Does burn oil. About 1 quart every 1,000-1,500 miles.
    Runs good. It has the 3.0 SOHC.
    5spd shifts smooth.
    Custom exhaust no cat.
    tinted windows.
    $2,000 is what I want for it. It does have a stereo in it now, and I'm willing to sell it or some of it with the car. If not I will put a radio/speakers in it.
    Stereo is a Alpine deck, Eclips point source 6 1/4 door speakers (amped), Eclips 6 1/4 rear speakers, 2 10 inch eclips subs believe they are 8700 series complete with another amp.

    Now I'm tempted to bring my Mustang or Probe to Fargo... My Probe has a powerflow muffler that is kind of deep and I also cut out the cat. The Mustang has headers, mid pipe -the cats and catback. If that doesn't make them mad I bet the noisey supercharger would, cuz I know you can hear that from more than 10 feet away.
    Maby the cops there just don't like "fart pipes" and "farm exhaust"???
    I personaly like the sound of Imports with good exhaust that actualy has a tone to it.

    5spd. Tranny actualy works good unlike most Probes, but 4th gear gets alittle sticky now and then.
