Yeah I really want to go with the 455 but it is so hard to find a pontiac 455 that is an early 70's those are the ones with the most horsepower If I end up going with the 400 it wont be so bad because i will be able to put better parts on it with the money I will be saving from not buying the 455 and I think a 455 has more expensive parts, but most parts are able to go on either what ever I do it will be sweet and it will definately be mean as hell

hey everyone, I have a 75 trans am and im planning on building up the 400 that is in it already or getting a 455. What is better, I heard the 455 will blow up really easy, I dont know. If anyone has a 455 with tons of horsepower I want it, but I also dont want it just for the track I want to be able to drive it on the street, so please dont tell me you have some 9000 hp motor for 12 billion dollars, but I do want it to be a monster let me know what you guys think and get back to me:D
