Go to the DMV and pick up the motorcycle safety booklet thing (I'm not sure what it's actually called). In the back of the booklet it tells you what is involved in the test course. If I remember correctly there is an emergency braking, avoidance swerve, and slalom through cones. Hope that helps.

Motorcycle test course? (for MSF or License)It's johnson park in north moorhead. Just go north on 11th st past the sugar beat plant and it will be on the west side of the road. The course is painted on the pavement in the first parking lot on the right. Here it is on google maps.

Suby crew: RS swap arrived! WOOT!Good luck with the swap. I think what your doing is the best way to go, an old GC with a swap! I'm sure your tranny will hold for a while if you only have 5x,xxx miles on it. As long as you don;t do to many AWD launches.

Rally-X Jan. 26 - Bufallo River Race ParkThere was only five of us who raced. It was pretty fun, a little rough and slippery. It was Me, Colin, Shane, a blue wrx, and some guy in an old buick who did really good.

2008 Motorcycle Rider Roll Callkzrider that bike you are putting together looks really good. I have also thought about building an old school bike. It looks like if you get a late model front end on the bike it will be about perfect. You should keep us updated on your project.

The importance of dyno tuning your bike.Have you ever tuned a bike with Tuneboy software? This is what i have on my triumph and from what I have heard you can do a bit more precise tuning using the Tuneboy software than you can with the Power Commander.

Fun roadstreimche there are some pretty good roads in the lakes area, like was said earlier. Just head out there and explore alittle. Just yesterday I went for a ride in that area and found some pretty good roads. Here is a link to the route that I took.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=sabin,+mn&daddr=CR-20+%4046.716150,+-95.963350+to%3ACR-31+%4046.700360,+-95.959200+to%3AFish+Lake+Rd+%4046.688330,+-96.000930+to%3AFish+Lake+Rd+%4046.667240,+-96.004390+to%3AE+Lake+Lizzie+Rd+%4046.644520,+-95.993100+to%3AE+Lake+Lizzie+Rd+%4046.620940,+-95.966710+to%3ACR-31+%4046.607840,+-95.974900&mrcr=0&mra=pe&sll=46.70126,-96.495667&sspn=0.482205,0.925598&ie=UTF8&ll=46.703144,-95.961285&spn=0.060273,0.1157&z=13&om=1
The roads can get a little crouded with all of the lakes people out there. You just have to be carefull and respectfull. I thought the best road in that link is the fish lake rd. It is all really tight curves that are posted at 20 to 30mph. The bad part is that it is lined with houses so you can't go all out, but you can still have a little fun just going about 10 over the speed limit.
Oh and 113 and Itaska Park has to be the best road around here. I have done that trip many times. It takes about 5 to 6 hrs. to go out there and cruise around alittle and come back. But it is definetly worth it. 113 has all been redone so it is nice and smooth. But like was said earlier some of the cops can be dicks. This is the route I usually take to Itaska. And when I get there I usually do two loops around the park. I think it costs $2 or $3 for a parking pass.

Hope this helps give you an idea of where to ride. And I am always ready for riding. Everyone on this forum should get together sometime and go for a big group ride out to Itaska. -

Charity Car WashI just talked to her and she said yes there will be. So everyone go get your car washed tomorrow. Oh and mind friend is very hot. It would be worth the $5 just to see here in a bikini.
-
Charity Car WashI'm not sure I will ask her. I would assume if it is warm out there would be, if not I will try to talk her into it. LOL
-
Charity Car WashI hope this is alright to post this here. My friend is part of an organization that is holding a charity car wash on Wednesday, May 2 from 12-6pm. It is going to be at Cashwise in South Fargo on 13th ave. It costs $5. The money is being raised for building schools for kids in Uganda. So if anyone needs there car washed come on down. If you think about it this is probably cheaper then paying for a car wash at a gas station or at the self serve car wash places. Plus it is for a good cause.

A little incentive for the bikes at IDRWhat is all needed to race your bike at the drag strip? Is it just a dead man's kill switch, leather jacket and gloves, helmet, and boots that cover your ankles?
