I used to have a 2000 Grand Am GT that had the 3.4 it was very fast! I put the magnaflow camaro crossflow muffler on that. It had Nitto's on it. That car was amazing. For your dollar to horsepower ratio it is hard to beat a grand am they had some of the most power for the cheapest price.lmfao... how much did u have into it (including the price of the car), how much power did it put out?
I'd bet there's tons upon tons of cars that are much better power for the money (that includes domestics as well as imports)

stock the 3400 is a mild 175hp but it doesn't take much to get 200whp out of them. a $100-$200 3500 top swap (depending on where you get the parts) adds about 25 whpand the car costs... and weighs..
im sure there's plenty of things that u can build that are much faster much cheaper...

175hp plus 25whp does not equal 200whp.if your read my post again maybe you will understand what i said. i never said adding the 3500 top will give you 200whp i said it will add about 25whp. i also said stock the 3400 is 175hp and it is easy to get to the 200whp mark.

Please...I doubt any bolt on mods could get a 175HP (CRANK horsepower, you do realize all car HP ratings are rated at the crank, not the wheels) grand am to put out 200 to the wheels.
My mustang is rated at 215HP from the factory and after doing Cams/Intake manifold/Offroad Midpipe/Exhaust and getting it tuned by Andy on the Dyno, the car only now puts out 215 to the wheels. Nice try though!
