lol if only you knew...... I had an Oring blow out of one of my injectors when i was beating on it....

smelt gas, opened the hood and there was a garden hose of gas under the hood. I don't know how it didn't go

            no chances now, lol

May be a retarded question but, does that meth injection nozzle have any problems being so close to the BOV? or directly across from it? You would think when it opens, you would be releasing quite a bit of meth/water.

ok so I didn't get to go the track the other weekend like i had planned on because the fuckers didn't get my windshield done, so that pist me off

so hopefully get there for the next street legal

anyway, just got my boost controller on. It is a hallman, and paid a little extra for the ceramic ball and extra spring

I didn't think the car could spool faster but i can definitely tell it does with the addition of just the BC

Bumped the car to 10psi now, honestly can't believe how much power these motors pick up on every pound of boost, it is nuts

as always, i like it nice and simple

                      legacy image

and some will probably hate on me for this but whatever

my aluminum hood had a nice dent in it.... so i got rid of it.... and helped evacuate air in the process (thanks parker, haha)

FYI this picture does not lie....

                      legacy image

with tape strips hanging off the edge of the vents you can very easily tell that there is a good volume and velocity of air coming up and out the vents when you are at speed

it always makes me LOL when people jack the back of the hood up and think that is going to help anything.....

and it gives the gawkers an idea what is under the hood, haha

                      needs some actual paint now

why? I have my big nozzle now, and my IAT's run at or below ambient air temps with the meth injection

I spose i should get a screen shot of a log so you believe me

do a 1st ------> 4th gear pull , what are your intake temps after that on a day its 85 degrees out.

ok did a log this afternoon

i guess i lied a bit, it gets 25-30* above ambient

not to worried though because it is running very strong like it is.... i am on E30 with a 10.3:1 CR motor and some decent timing as you can see without any problems

for the HP level it is at i should probably be running two 8 ghp nozzles not just one, but it runs really well right now so

if you look at the log times from the beginning to the end you will see it took right at 7 seconds for that pull... i rolled into it a little bit so i didn't spin. And i didn't top 3rd out because that is too sketchy on the my road. The 2>3 shift puts you right in the 95-98mph area

Boost is just a PID and that is why it is sort of unstable, if you look at the MAP you can see how stable the boost actually is

                                        oh and i heart HPT

and yeah, the 65lb injectors are mostly done there

no injection gets me 180* or a little better on the IAT's

i have the tune setup to pull alot of timing if the IAT's go up so it should be fairly safe, and i have a pressure gauge in the car in the meth line so i can see that additionally
