    Was that on a transbrake?

no, just foot braking into about 3psi..... I can footbrake to nearly full boost and still hold it on the line, but will blow the tires off

sucks cuz at strugis leaving on 1psi and just my 17" DRs i could pull a 1.54.... best at sabin was a 1.51 spinning badly with the slicks..... my 10.3 was only a 1.65

wish i could run at a prepped BIR event just once, I know it would leave hard, a 1.5 seems super docile with this setup..... i remember a 1.6 with the rotary and manual seemed like i was gonna pull a wheel it was so violent

470whp with 28% converter slip. Slipping converters dont dyno, so in a manual car that would likely be around 620whp

Thanks!... get the 475 done on your LS!

            yeah 470whp on 8psi

I don't expect it to dyno much with the auto, care more about track times

though a decent converter wouldn't hurt on the dyno or track

i am working on a deal for a built rossler PG and a UCC converter, so that should help

Yeah, as long as it's fast thats what counts. I was just curious what it made, overlooked the part about the converter slipping

Well some of my new parts are showing up

I had Lonnie at PTC spec and build me a converter..... super excited to get an actual good converter infront of a new transmission setup to see how it works without massive slip!

Lonnie was super nice and helpful too, very satisfied

it was 5 days from when i called till when i received! and it has the ls1 pilot and pattern so i do not need to use any sort of adapter anymore

So i picked up some like new complete Caddy LSA heads to try for cheap

I had planned on sending these off to either Lingfelter or WCCH for a port job

but the casting and finish on these is MUCH nicer compared my regular L92's..... so i may just do springs and bolt them down instead

The LS9/LSA heads differ from the normal ls3/l92 heads in these ways

                  different, better aluminum

                  better "rotocast" casting method

swirl fin in the intake port (you can see it in the left corner of the intake runner in my one pic)

                  some say thicker deck
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
difference from the LSA heads and the LS9 heads is that the LS9 uses larger headbolts and different valves (Ti)

Worked out well that i got home from nice hawaii to cold home yesterday...... but I had a present waiting so it made the transition better!

In the end i decided to pick up a new set of done up LSA heads from Richard at WCCH...... SS valves...... dual springs..... 350+/240+ flow #s... .. large 75cc chambers

Richard was great, very very helpful and always available to talk. So a +1 for him

and their work speaks for themselves as why i went to them

So i have a like new set of stock LSA's here if anyone would be interested for cheap

CR will be at 9.9 now instead of ~10.6 like it was on the stock chamber L92's....... got to love E85.... even with the previous high CR and no IC, no det problems

                                    Well getting more done

I am very pleased with how the new front end is coming together with the new and improved radiator and the addition of a FMIC (hope GSR is happy 🙂

I have gained another 3" of room forward......... and only two bolts to remove the IC, and only two bolts to pull the radiator (holes not drilled for that yet)

the rad sits on a 1/2" pad of rubber
