both b and d series have been put in them... i think hasport even makes a mount kit for b swap... another motor to look into is a DOHC ZC, they came in the 1st gens in japan, and when done right can be a good motor...

I was just sayin instead of gettin a d16a1 block to fit the z6 Head if i could just fit it on the d15a3 due to it being 'close'. I just read that ppl went for a different block or did the b16 swap.

the 1st gen integra motor is a pretty direct swap too, if I remember right. ..it may even be the ZC motor, I'd have to look it up.
The guy who MAKES hasport mounts is a member on redpepperracing. yes, they make B-series mounts, and yes, they cost money.
Is yours the red Si on Craigslist right now? or do you have the black one I keep seeing around town?

1st gen teg is a d16a1, very similar to a dohc zc...

the head from a late model d series will not fit on your current motor without major modification. Adding VTEC to a d series motor will not gain that much hp. If you are looking for a fun N/A Car, swap the B. If you are looking for HP, swap a standard D series(d16z6, d16y8) and turbo it.

                  no race car? becuz homeowner...
