I am not here to bash anyone either. And i agree on what was said earlier as far as if you give a guy a civic and a guy a GTP and give both of them $2000 then tell them to drag them, that the civic would pull ahead, mainly because there is so much more parts for honda's rather than pontiacs.. and i've seen the cars that are modded around town, and i'm not gonna lie, looks pretty nice seeing a intercooled honda pullin up behind you on the street.. i have nothing against them/you. I just want respect for what i drive/want to do to my car...thats all.

Seriously bubba, a modded GP vs. a track prepped supra. No contest, but I have a feeling that a lot of the hondas would get pwnd. Nick's GSR is probibly the exception. I have yet to see that car btw.

I have a feeling there's gonna be a few quick hondas this year at sabin...it'll be fun to watch some domestic pwnage...and the guy that was thinking he's so sweet brought up the probe...that's track prepped too...

Agreed to an extent. I believe there are cars that are the exception to this statement. Namely the Evo, STi, BMW M3, and Z06.

These cars are all around contenders that will bring the pain on most vehicles by only spending a few grand, whether it's the drag strip, road course, or highway.

Sure, they may not be number one at everything, but I'm pretty sure 11 sec. timeslips, 1G+ cornering, and 160+mph gearing is VERY feasible for those cars in one package of mods.

Beats the hell out of a FWD sedan that can only go fast in a quarter mile setting, IMO.

Sure but can you pick up an M3, Z06, or EVO for under 10k? Even if you could would you drive it every day? If you were abusing it and broke something could you get parts easily? These are the reasons I stand by the Grand Prix all the way, and I don't even like GM cars.

Yes, you can get an E36 M3 for under $10k.

Probably gets more ass than a Grand Prix, too.

u cant hardly get a E30 m3 for under 10g's....shit i'd definately buy one for that if i could find it...

I'm pretty sure I just went on Autotrader to make sure I wasn't lying, and all the ones in the $9k range were E36s.

Granted, a lot of the M3s that came up were 10-13 years old, some auto, some sedan, but the point is that one can be found in that price range.

And it's still better than a loud ass GTP running open pipes at a drag strip while posting some sweet 13 sec. times.

#1- who was saying shit in this thread that has riced out hondas?? Zac, bubba, and I were the only honda drivers that said anything bad in that thread and i think we all stick to pretty clean hondas.

#2- Big colored banners are pretty ricey son.
