Thanx guys, I just hope I can get it down the track without any issues.

I was just told where I can lose another 40 lbs. unless it has already been done, but I doubt it.

It's getting closer. Only a few more things left. Need to finish a few small wiring jobs behing the dash, finish plumbing the AMS-1000, reinstall all dash panels, reinstall interior, set-up suspension and get an alignment done.
I got a lot of misc. stuff done this weekend. I re-located the tranny cooler from the back to the front and installed a cooling fan on it. Got all the fuel system done. Had the fittings welded in for the blow-off valve and O2 sensor put in. Fabricated new brackets for the shifter cable to work with this shifter. Cleaned up some more wiring.
I took a look at where that 40 lbs. is at. I think it is way too much work for what it is. It would be a lot of cutting, looks like a job maybe for next winter.

I am going to try to get it on the road this week to verify the tune. I don't think too much has really changed. If all goes well, I may try to get some launches in this weekend. If launches go well and datalogs look good I may try an attempt at a full pass.

Inside the roof. Pull out all roof reinforcing. I guess some guys cut the roof off first to do it.

Not quite as light as I was hoping for. It is still 800 lbs.

800 lbs means, what, low 8s now all other things equal?

That's going to be a hell of an upgrade.

                            Still RS/U legal?

Yes, still R/S-U legal. Should be low 8's, hopefully I can start bringing in boost sooner and turn it up higher. Had 25 psi in 3rd gear last year.

Trust me; its not just going to fit in, none of them ever do. They all take a ton of bending and tweaking.

I haven't had is sonic checked yet. Either way it doesn't matter, going to torch the old one out.
