Back on topic, preproduction 2011 Mustang made 395 whp on a dynojet, and I read that some shops think that ~500 whp may be achievable with just a reflash. I must say, Im pretty impressed.

the factory tuned ecu is for emissions and fuel economy... not 32% more hp

If you take a boosted car and increase the boost, you should make more power. If you don't, there is something wrong. I'd like to see numbers where they aren't increasing the boost to create more power. That wasn't just a remap of the fuel curve.

I never claimed any different, just showed an example of a car gaining 32-38%. It is common knowledge factory tunes are very conservative, especially on boosted cars, but even N/A can gain decent power with fueling, and especially variable cam timing adjustments.
