Blu ray discs are 54 GB, over twice the amount 360's discs are. The Cell processor on the ps3 has twice the processing power of the 360's, the video card is better than two geforce 6800's.. this thing will dominate the 360, like I said before.

Also note that consoles don't have to drive the same level of graphic detail as the computer based games. Even HD (1080i) is less resolution than anyone would consider running on a home machine for games if they're a gamer. 720p would be a bit more impressive, but still, the point is consoles can get away with lesser video cards because they're not driving the same resolutions as a computer.

who knows but i think the new ps3 being released in spring and not christmas will hurt there sales i dont care what they say.....

i guess we will have to wait and see how those consoles power are used, that determines which is better 🙂 im still buying xbox360 first

It looks like both the XBOX and PS3 will be around $400.

I have heard that it will most likely be be $299

                        http://news.punchjump.com/article.php?id=903

Microsoft is expected to pickup the loss for the console and make up for it in software sales... From research, the think the top people will pay for the console is around $300.

Sony is expected to charge considerably more for the PS3
